Check Kennel AlignmentFor the best roof fi t, the kennel should be squared, which means that each kennel corner is at a 90 degree angle.

Using the measuring tape, measure the kennel diagonally from corner to corner. If your measurement 1. is less than or equal to one half inch (13mm), your kennel is square.If your measurements exceed one half inch, adjust the kennel so that each corner is close to a 90 2. degree angle. Measure the kennel again and continue to make adjustments until the kennel is square.

Assemble Center Connector, Center Brace and 28.5 inch (72.3cm) Tubing

Gather Center Connector, (2) Center Brace 1. tubes and (2) 28.5 inch (72.3cm) tubes.On the ground, insert the (2) center brace 2. tubes on the angled sides of the center connector. The welded plate at each end of the center brace tubes should face down. Insert the (2) straight tubes on the straight 3. sides of the center connector.

Install Center Roof Assembly to KennelTurn around the top clamp on each 10 foot 1. (3.05m) side of the kennel so that the screw head faces outside and the bolt and nut faces the inside. Leave the connection loose.Take the center roof assembly built in Step 2. 2 and place the center brace tubes on top of the loosened center clamps on top of the kennel (3A).

On one side of the kennel, unscrew the nut 3. on the clamp and insert the bolt into the oval hole on the welded plate (3B). Loosely re-attach the nut.Repeat Step 3 on the opposite side. Once 4. both sides are attached, tighten the nuts on each side. The top of the clamps should be fl ush against the bottom of the top kennel rails.

Connect Upright Tubing with Clamp, Elbows and Swedged Tubing

Gather (2) Upright Tubes with Clamps, (2) 1. Elbows and (2) Swedged Tubes.Start on the outside of the kennel at either 2. the gate panel or rear panel. Take one upright tube with clamp and, holding it at an angle, slide the clamp onto the center of the top rail of the panel (4A). The hole on the clamp must be on the outside of the kennel. Rotate the clamp so that the tube is vertical and the clamp fi ts securely on the top rail (4B). Loosely tighten the clamp in place with the screw and repeat this step on the opposite side of the kennel.Insert one elbow into the open end of one 3. of the swedged tubes so that the arrow is pointing up (4C). Move to the inside of the kennel and fi t the swedged end of the tube into the open end of one of the 28.5 inch (72.3cm) tubes. Insert the other end of the elbow into the upright tube with clamp.Repeat Step 3 on the opposite side. Once 4. the roof frame is assembled, check that both upright tube clamps are centered on the gate panel and rear panel of the kennel (4D). Tighten the clamps using a Phillips screwdriver.

Fit the Tarp on the Roof FrameGather the tarp.1. Unfold the tarp and turn it right side up.2. Start on the inside of the kennel. Place the tarp over the roof frame 3. on one end of the kennel. Fit the grommet located at the peak of the SunBlock™ panel onto the plastic pin on the elbow (5A). Repeat this step on the opposite side and ensure that the grommets properly fi t on the elbow pins.Drape the sides of the tarp on the outside of the kennel side panels.4.

Secure the Tarp to the KennelGather (4) Bungee Balls and (18) Cable Ties.1. Attach one bungee ball to each of the four 2. sides of the kennel at the corners. Fit the bungee balls through the grommets on the tarp and around the kennel side rail (6A).Attach the sides of the tarp to the kennel 3. using (8) cable ties. Loosely attach each cable tie through a tarp grommet and around the wire mesh. Once the cable ties are in place, tighten them and snip off any excess using the wire cutters.Secure the SunBlock4. ™ panels on each end of the roof to the top rail of the kennel using (6) cable ties. When attaching the cable tie to the center grommet of the SunBlock™ on each end of the kennel, be sure to insert the cable tie through the hole on the upright tube with clamp. Tighten the cable ties until you put tension on the SunBlock™ panel. The bottom of the SunBlock™ panel is not designed to touch the top of the kennel rail (6B). Save any remaining cable ties in a safe place for future use.

Important: Tarp is not designed to withstand the weight of snow. Remove cover in winter. Kennel anchors are strongly recommended. PetSafe® Anchor Kit sold separately.

Verifique la alineación de la perreraPara que el techo quede óptimamente instalado, la perrera debe estar bien cuadrada, lo que signifi ca que cada esquina debe formar un ángulo de 90 grados.

Con una cinta métrica, mida la perrera en diagonal, de esquina a esquina. Si las medidas difi eren en 1. media pulgada (13 mm) o menos, la perrera está bien cuadrada.Si la medida excede de media pulgada, ajuste la perrera de modo que cada esquina mida 2. aproximadamente 90 grados. Mida nuevamente la perrera y siga ajustándola, hasta que quede cuadrada.

Arme el conector central, el soporte central y los tubos de 28.5 pulgadas (72.3 cm)

Arme el conector central, los (2) tubos 1. del soporte central y los (2) tubos de 28.5 pulgadas (72.3 cm).Sobre el piso, meta los (2) tubos del soporte 2. central en los lados inclinados del conector central. La placa soldada que se encuentra en cada extremo de los tubos del soporte central debe quedar orientada hacia abajo. Introduzca los (2) tubos rectos por los lados 3. rectos del conector central.

Fije la unidad central de techo a la perreraGire la abrazadera superior en cada uno 1. de los lados de 10 pies (3.05 m) de largo de la perrera, de modo que la cabeza de los tornillos quede orientada hacia afuera y el perno y las caras de las tuercas queden orientados hacia dentro. No apriete la unión.Tome la unidad central del techo armada 2. en el paso 2 y coloque los tubos del soporte central sobre las abrazaderas centrales aún sin apretar, que se hallan en el borde superior de la perrera (3A).

Vuelva a colocar la tuerca, pero déjela fl oja.Repita el paso 3 en el lado contrario. Una 4. vez que haya fi jado ambos lados, apriete las tuercas de cada lado. La parte superior de las abrazaderas debe quedar al ras de la parte inferior de los tubos del marco superior de la perrera.

Conecte los tubos verticales, con la abrazadera, los codos y los tubos con extremo reducido

Arme los (2) tubos verticales con las 1. abrazaderas, (2) codos y (2) tubos de extremo reducido.Comience desde la parte exterior de la 2. perrera, en cualquiera de los paneles de la puerta o en el panel posterior. Tome un tubo vertical con abrazadera y, sosteniéndolo en ángulo, deslice la abrazadera por sobre el centro del tubo superior del panel (4A). El orifi cio de la abrazadera debe quedar sobre la parte exterior de la perrera. Gire la abrazadera de modo que el tubo quede en posición vertical y la abrazadera quede bien fi ja sobre el tubo del marco superior (4B). Con el tornillo, apriete la abrazadera sólo un poco, y repita este paso en el otro lado de la perrera. Introduzca un codo en el extremo abierto de 3. uno de los tubos con extremo reducido, de manera que la fl echa quede indicando hacia arriba (4C). Desde el interior de la perrera introduzca el extremo reducido del tubo en el extremo abierto de uno de los tubos de 28.5 pulgadas (72.3 cm). Meta el otro extremo del codo en el tubo vertical con abrazadera.Repita el paso 3 en el lado contrario. Una 4. vez que el bastidor del techo esté armado, verifi que que las abrazaderas de ambos tubos verticales estén centradas sobre el panel de la puerta y el panel posterior de la perrera (4D). Apriete las abrazaderas con el destornillador Phillips.

Ajuste la lona sobre el marco del techoSaque la lona.1. Extiéndala, con el lado indicado hacia arriba.2. Comience a colocarla desde adentro de la perrera. Coloque la lona 3. sobre el bastidor del techo, en un extremo de la perrera. Coloque el ojal ubicado en el vértice del panel SunBlock™ sobre la clavija plástica del codo (5A). Repita este paso en el lado opuesto y verifi que que los ojales queden bien asentados sobre las clavijas de los codos.Deje caer los lados de la lona sobre la parte exterior de los paneles 4. laterales de la perrera.

Fije la lona a la perreraTome las (4) correas elásticas con bola y 1. (18) cables de amarre.Fije una bola en cada una de las esquinas 2. de la perrera. Meta las bolas a través de los ojales de la lona y alrededor del tubo del marco lateral de la perrera (6A).Fije los lados de la lona a la perrera, con 3. (8) cables de amarre. Instale, sin apretarlo, cada cable de amarre, pasándolo por el ojal de la lona y alrededor de la malla metálica. Cuando haya colocado todos los amarres, apriételos y corte los trozos sobrantes con las tenazas para cortar cables.Fije los paneles SunBlock4. ™ en cada extremo del techo, al tubo del marco superior de la perrera, usando (6) cables de amarre. Al instalar el cable de amarre en el ojal central de cada lado del panel SunBlock™ de la perrera, asegúrese de pasar el cable de amarre a través del orifi cio ubicado sobre el tubo vertical con abrazadera. Amarre los cables, hasta que el panel SunBlock™ quede tenso. El fondo del panel SunBlock™ no está diseñado para que roce la parte superior del tubo del marco de la perrera (6B). Guarde todos los cables de amarre sobrantes en un lugar seguro, por si los necesita en el futuro.

Importante: La lona no ha sido diseñada para soportar el peso de la nieve. Quite la cubierta durante el invierno. Recomendamos especialmente el uso de anclajes para fijar la perrera. El juego de anclajes PetSafe® se vende por separado.
