Dear Bishop Olmstead, As members of the Body of Christ in the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, we, the undersigned, respectfully ask you to reconsider your intentions to implement new norms for the distribution of Holy Communion. At the very least, give pastors the authority to determine when offering communion under both species is appropriate for their community, as allowed under the General Instruction of the Roman Missal #283.
