Day 1 Various Arrival Times Meet & Greet – Yellowknife -Transportation to the Explorer Hotel 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Museum Tour 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM Lunch at The Wildcat Café with Robert Berdan – Workshop Leader (Guests are responsible to pay for their own lunch). 2:00 PM– 5:30 PM City Tour 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM Free Time 9:30 PM - 1:30 AM Aurora Photography Complimentary evening snacks and beverages provided. 1:30 AM Return to The Explorer Hotel Day 2 10:00 AM Boat Tour and Fish Fry with Bluefish Services. Travel out on Yellowknife Bay past the Aboriginal village of Dettah. View and photo shoot the skyline of Yellowknife from the water. Continue on into the islands and photograph nesting bald eagles. Stop on the shore and see old grave sites, settlements and ancient tent rings and enjoy a fresh fish fry (or) Ingraham Trail/Cameron Falls Tour, Mining Heritage site. The Mining Heritage site provides an opportunity to photograph old mining equipment; machines; vehicles, old cabin and tools. Hike to Cameron Falls. Packed lunch provided. 7:00 PM Depart to Aurora Village for a Northern Style Dinner under the stars before Aurora Viewing.* 1:30 AM Depart Aurora Village for the Explorer Hotel Day 3 10:00 AM Depart The Explorer Hotel for charter floatplane flight to Peterson’s Point Lake Lodge. Light snacks will be provided. Departure at 10:30AM 12:00 PM Arrive at Peterson’s Point Lake Lodge. Check-in to your assigned cabin, enjoy freshly prepared lunch followed by orientation talk. 2:30 PM Hike with Robert Berdan and Peterson’s Point Lake Guides.
