My invention & patent - a pneumatic capping head for applying metal bottle tops for soft drinks, alcohol, & cosmetic packaging in addition to other products

This pneumatic capping head led to the development of a new generation of multi head machines, allowing for greater product safety and production (800 bottles per minute).
The benefit of using pneumatic control, every roller applied the same force. The top and side force was adjustable with the machine running and from 2 control valves. Changing settings in under 1 minute instead of 1 hour on previous mechanical machines.
The production machine used a PLC to perform pre-start checks to ensure caps were in the chute, the bowl feeder was running and air pressure was correct
