PETAL Central station Air Handling Units are designed to provide air conditioning i.e cooling / heating and filtering etc with a set of standard component sections. Each unit consists of flat filter section, coil section and fan section with internal insulation of 2”thick.

Note: - All above arrangements are available in different size ranging from 2000 CFM to 20000 CFM.

UNIT FRAME:

The framework of standard Units is made of aluminum frames connected with aluminum corners. 50mm thick double skinned panels are manufactured from galvanized sheet steel and thermally and acoustically insulated with polyurethane foam. In standard panels the thermal conductivity according to EN 1886 isclass T4. Air Handling Unit will be Horizontal/vertical draw/blow throw including Mixing + filter chamber, Supply & return Bag filter chamber, HEPA Filter Chamber, Cooling chamber, Supply fan chamber, access doors of the units, drain tray, blower motor, statically dynamically balanced blowers.

Air Curtains, clean room curtains maintains the interior air conditioning efficiency to save energy, while preventing the entry of dust, harmful insects and fumes from outside. An air curtain or clean room curtains is a device used for separating two spaces from each other. It usually happens at the exterior entrance. The most common configuration for air curtains is a downward facing fan mounted over an opening. Normally this opening is an entrance to a building and the air curtain is intended to help keep outside air out and avoid cold draught by mixing in warm air from the air curtain. The fan must be powerful enough to generate a jet that can reach the floor. An air (non-heated) air curtains are often used in conjunction with cold storage and refrigerated rooms. Airflow through a door depends on wind forces, temperature differences and pressure differences.

The PETAL Hot Water Generators, operated at natural gas, are a source of providing hot water supply to all type of Air Conditioning applications. The hot water from generators is circulated through Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units or Heat Exchanger etc., requiring hot water for heating.The function of unit is fully automated by use of an intermittent pilot ignition system. Lighting of pilot is automatically performed byelectronic spark ignition each time the thermostat call for heat. The intermittent pilot ignition system saves the gas by automatically shutting the pilot off when there is no call for heat. An electric supply connection is required to operate the control system of the unit.The units are required to be installed in an open space due to its natural draft air circulation design. However it may be installed inside a plant room, provided a sufficient fresh air circulation is ensured. The system is most suitable for installation parallel to a chiller unit, for winter heating. The same piping, pumps, Air Handling Unit, Fan Coil Unit or Heat Exchanger may be used for space heating.The units are factory assembled and internally wired, the only works required at site are to connect natural gas supply connection, water piping with pumps and control power supply etc. Maintenance of unit is very easy. All components, piping and wiring is easily accessible by opening excess panels. Unit’s heat exchanger shells are provided with removable heads for excess to coil tubes and maintenance work etc.

The supply and return fans are statically and dynamically balanced, belt driven, double inlet centrifugal fans.

In systems with low, medium and high duct pressures forward curved fans are used. In high-pressure systems double inlet fans with

backward curved centrifugal fans can be used as well.

Fans are supplied with flexible connections between the fan discharge outlet and unit casing and fan motors are mounted on

rubber vibration absorbers in the unit casing. The power supply for fan motors is 380V, 50Hz and protection and insulation classes for

the motors are Ip54 and F respectively.
