Petplan has the highest customer praise of any of the plans.

They cover both hereditary and congenital conditions (in most cases) and do nothave age restrictions, all of which are very rare coverage areas in this industry.

Unlike many other plans, Petplan offers unlimited claims for the lifetime of thepet and will not adjust monthly premiums for newly-discovered conditions fromyear to year, so long as you stay current with your plan.

PET INSURANCE?HOW TO CHOOSE

You may want to weight the cost vs. benefit of monthly premiumcost vs. the types (and value) of benefits received in the case of ahealth issue or accident.

If you have an older pet, age limitations will definitely play a part informing your decision on the right pet health insurance plan for you.

Review any plan deductibles or payout percentages that mayimpact your real out of pocket cost in the case of emergency.
