Charity Information

We are dedicated to ensuring that all of our cards are printed on FSC certified board, this accreditation ensures that all of the board we use for our cards follows the correct chain of custody from where the tree is grown, through us, to you our customer.

We are also part of the zero foil to land fill scheme which means that unlike other greeting card publishers all of our foil waste is responsibly recycled rather than ending up in landfill. We have taken the decision to no longer produce or supply cards with flitter/glitter. This decision has been taken on environmental grounds due to the hugely detrimental impact micro plastics, of which the majority of flitter is, has upon our environment.

All of our greeting cards are designed, printed, finished and dispatched from under one roof at our factory in West Yorkshire, not only does that give us total control over your order it also significantly reduces the carbon footprint of our production. Especially when compared to other cards that are made overseas.

Our bespoke service offers you the opportunity to create the style and design of your choice. You can choose from portrait, landscape, square cards or our standard calendar format.

• We are able to accept digital files, artwork or photographs.• We can accept images in .jpg, .eps, .tif, .bmp and .pdf format.• You can supply the image on disc by post or send by email. Please remember if you are not sending the image with the order

you must clearly mark both up with the agent’s 9 digit reference number and the name of the company who the order is for -failure to do this may cause delay.

• Images need to be as high resolution (image quality) as possible, with a minimum resolution of 600dpi. We cannot be heldresponsible for the quality of the cards if the images supplied are of a poor standard.

• Please ensure that you have permission to print your chosen image before submitting the order.

How to Place an OrderSelect a design and the quantity you require.

Select a greeting and typeface from those shown on 40 and 41 pages.

If you want to support a charity choose from the list on page 2.

If you wish to include your company logo, signature or colour printing see the information in the next column.

We will not treat your order as complete and ready to process until all relevant components have been received and are suitable for use i.e. good quality logo artwork with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi together with pantone colour references.

DeliveryAll orders will be delivered via a Carrier Service using a 2 working day service (excluding Highlands and Islands). The final date on which orders can be accepted is Friday, 4th December, 2020. Please contact our customer service department for overseas deliveries including Southern Ireland.

Charity ContributionsA contribution of 10p per card will be donated to the nominated charity and paid to the charity or it’s trading company, which gives it’s taxable profits to the charity.

ProofsA proof is not automatically supplied. If requested, a layout proof can be posted at a charge of £5. E-mail proofs will be supplied FREE of charge upon request.

Greetings and TypefacesGreeting 1 and Typeface Q as shown on page 40 and 41 will be printed in all cases unless otherwise stated on the order form, please see the following pages for alternatives.

E-mail AddressesIf you have requested an email address to be included in your personalisation we will print it in lower case with no spaces unless otherwise specified. e.g. [email protected] (Greetings 11 & 12 and Typeface N will be printed in capital letters)

InsertsMost designs will feature your personalised details inside the card on paper inserts except those where the actual cards are produced to your personal requirements and calendars which will all be printed directly onto the cards. For those cards that do not feature inserts please see individual designs.

EnvelopesWhite self-seal envelopes are supplied with all cards. Calendars are supplied with gummed envelopes or plastic cases.

SignaturesCustomers requiring one single signature inside the cards will be charged £20. There will be a charge of £1 for each additional signature required.

e.g. 3 signatures will cost £22.

If a signature template is used, additional signatures are free.

Signature templates are available on request from Customer Services.

Company LogosWe can incorporate your company logo(for an extra charge of £20 per logo per design).

Remember to specify whether your logo is to be printed in Black or Colour (for colour logos see Colour Printing below).

Digital files should have a minimum resolution of 600 dpi and should be supplied in .tiff .jpg .bmp .eps or .pdf format for PC use.

Please include a black and white print out of the contents of your disk.

If you require your logo scanning please supply camera-ready artwork or clear black copy on a white background with your posted order. Poor quality artwork will be rejected.

We will reproduce logos to a size that is appropriate with your chosen card unless otherwise stated.

Please indicate your logo position on your order. If a position is not stated we will position as we think best.

Unfortunately disks/artwork cannot be returned after use.

Colour Printing(Using 4 Colour Digital Process Printing)

All orders that require printing in any shade other than black will be printed using the 4 process colours. Please remember, when ordering, to include the pantone colour reference(s) that you require and we will simulate this using the 4-colour process. An exact colour match cannot be guaranteed, but printed colour proofs will be supplied free of charge to ensure the finished product meets with your approval.

There is an additional charge of £60 for colour printing (this does not include the charge for signatures & logos).

e.g. 400 cards in Price Band C with a colour company logo would cost:

£547 for cards + £60 for colour printing + £20 for company logo = £627 Total

Your order will not be processed until all relevant components have been received and are suitable for use i.e. hard copy of your logo; good quality logo artwork with a minimum resolution of 600 dpi; together with pantone references.

Terms and ConditionsPlease ensure that your order is clearly written or typed. We cannot accept responsibility for errors caused by indistinct copy. On confirmation of order, copy amendments will NOT be accepted. Repeat orders will be classed as new orders. Orders can be placed online, faxed, posted or emailed, however we cannot accept faxed orders where a company logo is required.

To ensure the timely delivery of your Christmas card order please place your order as early as possible. Our standard order turnaround is 10 to 14 working days but this can differ at peak times.

Please allow an additional 5 working days for colour orders to be processed.
