BackgroundAr Keung is a 20 years old PolyU nursing year-2 student and he had a internship experience in take care real patients. He experienced those Online forum-based learning and Laboratory simulated-based learning methods. As the one of the student group we observed in the Lab class, he joined our focus group interview and finished the questionnaire at 15/10.

Online-based forum learningSince online-based forum provide chance for peer discussion and no environmental factors (no direct communication with teacher, time limit, able to choose) that cause him to be anxious, he can maximize his learning efficiency in the forum as it fits his personal traits and behaviors. Meanwhile, there is no specific answer when debating, 'everybody wins' result would be formed.
Laboratory simulated-based learningThere are two scenarios in this learning base:
a. If he becomes the demonstrator, he cannot learn well because he learns in intense atmosphere with tutor and all classmates even they are able to discuss with peer. But their emotion would dominant the whole learning.
b. On the other hand, when being in student group, his roles of student group still fit his personal traits and behaviors. Therefore, he will keep his motivation to interact with both demonstrators, students group.
