Participation in the PERKS Lottery is easy - just follow the steps below.
OPEN the Parking Operations website at www.uis.edu/parking
VIEW the parking lot maps to find the available areas that you would prefer. Available areas are identified in
“blocks” of spaces.
LIST your area choices – or blocks - in order of preference on the Entry Form. List as many blocks as you
wish.
E-MAIL your Entry Form to [email protected]
CONFIRM your PERKS assignment by e-mail. A notification will be emailed to all recipients with their PERKS
number and location after the lottery is completed. Recipients must send a reply e-mail confirming they have
received the assignment and wish to purchase it in July.

and download the Lottery Entry Form and the Parking Lot Maps.
Important dates for PERKS
April 15, 5:00 PM - Lottery entry forms are due! The e-mail must be sent to [email protected] by
this date and time.
April 20-24 – Lottery will be conducted and individual PERKS assigned.
April 24-27 - All PERKS recipients will receive an assignment notifications e-mail.
May 1, 5:00 PM – A confirmation e-mails are due! PERKS recipients must e-mail their confirmation to
[email protected] by this date and time.
July 15 – Confirmed PERKS recipients can complete their hangtag purchase via the Online Parking Permit
Application.
August 15 – PERKS hangtags will be available for pickup from Parking Operations. We will also be conducting
special hangtag distribution events. Watch the Campus Announcements for event dates and times!
Payment Guidelines for PERKS
Cost: $360 per year. PERKS auto-renew annually so your hangtag will not expire every year.
Confirmed PERKS recipients may purchase their hangtag online starting July 15 through the Parking Permit
Application, located on the Parking Operations website (www.uis.edu/parking).
Full time faculty and staff are eligible to select payroll deduction as their method of payment. Payroll deduction
will begin the final biweekly period of August for Civil Service and the first monthly period of September for AP
staff. Anyone not eligible for payroll deduction will be required to pay with a credit or debit card.
Residential Housing students may not purchase their hangtag online until a date is posted on the Parking
Operations website – typically the second week of August. Watch the website for this date to be posted.
PERKS Lottery
What if I miss the lottery or I change my mind after April 15?
Not to worry! Beginning on August 24, 2020, PERKS will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-
served basis. Visit the Parking Operations window to find and select an available space. Then complete your
purchase online.
