Presentation is KeyPresentation is very important! The way you present yourself affects how others feel about not only you but the product you represent - so be sure to Dress professionally and always be smiling and engaging!

Simple décor such as corks scattered about the table or borrowing a flower arrangement from the floral department adds

so much to the consumer’s experience. Also, do not hesitate to utilize pricing signage from the shelves to display on your table.

Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early for your event to setup.

Customer InteractionGiving out samples of a product not only allows you to

demonstrate the quality of the product in which you are promoting, but it offers an opportunity to create a rapport

with the customers. Offer fun facts about wine and liquor in the general sense as well as brand specific facts– If you are ever in need of talking points, please email me prior to your

tasting and I will be happy to assist.

“Brandy, rum and whisky can be either aged too long or not long enough”

“Distilled spirits such as brandy,

gin, rum, tequila, etc. contain

no carbohydrates, no fats and

no cholesterol of any kind”

“All spirits (unlike beer and wine) are

originally clear and colorless. The

golden brown and other colors are

achieved due to the aging process”

“You would have to squish about 700 grapes to make a bottle of wine”

Pictures It is important that pictures are clear and branded. We need one photo of you behind your setup, the store’s product display, and photos of customers holding the product(s)

RecapsWithin 48 hours of your event:

1. Complete 1 Recap for EACH varietal/item sampled at your tasting For Example: this tasting > Publix #1321 – Jameson and Jameson Black Barrel < You will complete one recap for “Jameson” and a separate recap for “Jameson Black Barrel”

Open the recap form and select the Product Name from the drop down list - if the item is not on the list, select "TBA" and be sure to reference the product's name in the "notes" section

2. Submit a recap for EVERY item - Even if it was out of stockSelect the item from the drop down list and put "0" in the "beginning Inventory" field. Also state in the "Notes" field that there was an insufficient amount to support the tasting.

3. Be thorough and thoughtful with your "Notes”Any feedback coming directly from the consumer is welcomed and appreciated so take your time to complete this field (Consumer feedback, suggestions, success stories, etc.)

4. Upload the receipt ONCE PER TASTINGIf you purchase the bottles, upload the receipt  to only one of your recaps.

The "Bottle Purchase Total" field should reflect the amount of the ENTIRE receipt - not just of the item you are currently recapping.

After you have uploaded your receipt and entered the bottle purchase amount on ONE recap - For all other recaps for that tasting, simply select "Pulled Bottles off Shelf" and select "no" for the bottle receipt uploader

Remember that we are “marketing” these products and brands so always put your best face forward and provide as much

feedback as possible within your recaps.

and as always
