For those of you who are looking to incorporate more data on their students, the district has provided just the perfect tool. PERFORMANCE MATTERS Goals-

1. Log on 2. Identify Data in a BIG way 3. Explore an individual student’s data 4. Use data to group student according to test scores.

What are the uses for data provided by Performance Matters.

1. Can be used for SGO’s to group students 2. Can be used for data drive instruction

HOW IT WORKS Log in-

1. www.trschools.com 2. Go to OUR SCHOOLS drop down menu 3. Select INTERMEDIATE SOUTH 4. On the Left Navigation Bar Select STAFF 5. Under Technology Links select PERFORMANCE MATTERS

If not sign off of the browser with and log back into your gmail. ACCEPT TERMS Once logged in to your email you will automatically log in to Performance Matters website. You will be asked to accept their user agreement by selecting I Agree in the upper right corner. See photo below.

FERPA REMINDER: You must keep all data confidential. In order to make this happen you will notice that their is a DEMO Mode in the case you need to do this in public form. To access Demo Mode select the drop down menu under your name at the top right corner of the screen and select DEMO MODE. WHO SEES WHAT: You will have your students Administrators will have all students MY UNIFY: When you log in to the Performance Matters site your first window is called the MY UNIFY Window. From there you will choose what reports you want to run.

STUDENT PROFILES: East block represents a student. When you select a student profile you can see all the data for that individual student. Data includes: Current Schedule Absences Discipline Record Previous Grades TAB for Test Results: Select the TEST SCORES Tab The STATE TAB for results of PARCC

DATA ANALYSIS Reports: Baseball Card Reports In the upper left corner of the Unify Screen you will see the word REPORTS- It is a drop down menu when you select it you will have the opportunity to select Baseball Card Reports. Select the report and a data screen will open up to allow you to evaluate data from an entire class. Choose the folder you want to get data from and the specific tests and the class will appear to the right in column form.

PERFORMANCE MATTERS

You will be able to eliminate the individual markers from the data in order to group your students. By select on the color buttons below the column header. This is called Swatching. APPLY SWATCHING: Swatching allows you to eliminate student data and group students. To apply swatching simply select the colored buttons underneath the column heading that you want to remove and press the APPLY SWATCHING Button above the student names column. Once you have pressed the button the data from those color swatches will disappear and you have now created a grouping. STUDENT FILTERS: You can further focus your group by choosing from Student Filters. Select the ADD STUDENT FILTERS Button. A window will pop up and allow you to choose from the different filters available. Select the filter you desire and click on the subset you want on the right hand side and make sure to choose the APPLY button in the lower left hand corner. Score Board Reports: You can select the REPORTS drop down menu to select SCOREBOARD Scoreboard Reports can be used to take broader snapshots of your classes. To select press the PLUS button next to each of the files you want to add to your Scoreboard.
