• Facilitates efficient removal of chips from the machine with ease• Machine includes coolant control as well as coolant flush to clean off sheet metal and flush chips into the conveyor• Coolant Tank capacity is 140 litres (36 US gal)

MACHINE CONSTRUCTION

DESIGNED FOR FLEXIBILITY AND PERFORMANCEThe latest software design platform and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) techniques were used to design and build the One Piece cast iron base structure. A rigid, structually-balanced machine to assure optimum performance and machine life. The FEA software accurately depicts the structual deflection, stress levels, thermal response and vibration response of the assembled components and the assemble machine. Extreme-case loadings are used to verify adverse machining conditions.

GUIDEWAY SYSTEM

• Linear roller guides are utilized on all axes to provide optimum stiffness and rigidity. The roller guideway has noticeably larger contact area. This results in a substantially higher load carrying capacity and lower wear together with minimum friction

SOLID ONE PIECE CAST IRON BASE• Rigid and stable base, strategically ribbed ensuring exceptional process accuracy with compact efficiency

INTEGRATED AUTOMATION PREPARATION

• Pre-Machines pads have been incorporated into the machines base casting, allowing for integrated automation – Reduce and simplify work handling with the use of either a simple Pick & Place Robot, Single line Gantry System for the fast traverse rates to quickly load and unload component parts – Continuous high-volume production either as a stand- alone unit or two or more systems configured for multiple operations – Ideal for small or large “Job Shops”, easy changeover from job to job for long or short batch runs – A fraction of the manpower is required thus improving your “cost per Part” – Reduces non-cutting time with simultaneous work handling – Ease of programming with a single CNC control, both the machine tool and work handling unit can be programmed

• Headstock assembly with heavy ribbed construction allows for minimum heat retention and optimum component part size control

VERTICAL GANG SLIDE CONFIGURATION

• Drastically reduces the cut-to-cut time with no time lost for turret indexing. Vertical Gang Tool Type Tool Holders can be mounted and arranged to suit each different process requirement.

• Hardinge Dovetail Tooling allows tools to be added or removed without disturbing any other tool. The dovetail adjustable wedge configuration for toolholders minimizes lifting action while machining, therefore reducing tool chatter, vibration and tool wear allowing for better surface finishes and part to part accuracy
