FEATURED PERCUSSIONISTS BILL BACHMAN has studied percussion performance at the University of North Texas and is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music. He is an international drum clinician and the road drummer in Neal Morse’s USA-based progressive rock band. Bachman has played with and instructed many award-winning marching percussion groups including the UNT drum line, Cadets, Bluecoats, Blue Knights and Carolina Crown in his 12 years touring with drum and bugle corps.
NICK BUDA attended the Berklee College of Music. He has played and toured with many diverse artists including Cyndi Thompson, Edwin McCain, Hank Williams Jr., Jedd Hughes, Maia Sharp, Emily West. His unmistakeable style puts him in high demand amongst the Music Row elite. His playing is featured on Taylor Swift’s first five multi-platinum albums. Other artists Buda has recorded with include: Richard Marx, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Kenny Loggins, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Randy Houser and more.
CHRISTOPHER NORTON is the director of percussion studies at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. Prior to joining the Belmont faculty in 2001, he taught at Western Kentucky University for 14 years. Norton performs regularly as a percussionist with Nashville Symphony, Alias Chamber Ensemble, Sympatico Percussion Group and the Peninsula Music Festival Orchestra. He has given clinics and recitals in Europe and across the United States. He is also the music director of the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra.
