Spring 2014

I am very thankful because I can help and understand my children.

It has enriched my life a lot in learning so I can continue to study more to be able to

help my kids with their schooling.

I feel more confident

because I am very shy.

One of my students emailed me to tell me that she couldn’t come to class that night.

The exciting thing? Before PEP she didn’t have an

email account.

Before I didn’t know this word “pre-

arranged.” But I learned it last week. Today, I

talked with my boss about vacation. We don’t get paid if we

take vacation for holidays. But my

boss, he said if it is pre-arranged I can

get paid. Now I know this word and I can get paid for

vacation.

I learned the name of the principal at my child’s school.

I learned how to communicate with my son’s school.

It is a great help for us parents so we can be involved more in our children’s education.

I learned about the

valiant effort of all the

teachers in the school

and the beauty of

learning and communicating with the teachers.

We learned how to support our kids.
