Our manicured, 18-hole, mountain golf course

winds through acres of tall ponderosa pines.

Golfers play in the clear, cool air at 7,500' to 8,000'

elevation with breath-taking views of the nearby

Sangre de Cristo Mountains and expansive Rociada

Valley. Four sets of tees play 5,020 to 6,550 yards

to challenge all skill levels.

Especially notable are the doglegs: tee shots

where you can choose daredevil shortcuts over the

ponderosa; or across a pond bordered by trees,

then a dogleg left with left hazard. How about an

approach dogleg left to a blind green, or a fairway

slanted 12° right, leaving a near impossible sliced

shot to the green if you don’t stay “up”? This is a

fun and beautiful mountain course!

You’ll also enjoy our fully stocked Pro Shop,

mountain view driving range, and the Snack Bar

with spacious indoor and covered porch seating

overlooking the first tee.

Pendaries’s Director of Golf is PGA Professional,

Stephen LeDonne. Steve has extensive experience

managing mountain courses similar to Pendaries,

at Rifle Creek and Deer Creek Village, Colorado.

MOUNTAIN ACCOMMODATIONSLodge Rooms Enjoy the next-to-nature, rustic character of the Pendaries Lodge. Each room has a magnificent view of the pine and fir, valleys and mountains surrounding Pendaries. Porches and decks provide ideal settings for after-golf relaxation before enjoying dinner at the popular Moosehead Restaurant and Bar.

Spacious, no-smoking rooms have either one king or two queen beds with free Wi-Fi, phones and satellite TV. Continental breakfast is included. Pet friendly rooms are available with an additional $25.00 per night charge. Rollaway beds are available for an additional fee.

COMMUNITY AMENITIES

Spring Lake Fishing Pond

Located near the Pendaries Clubhouse, Spring

Lake is a 1.5 acre private fishing pond. Pendaries

homeowners and guests are welcome to try their

luck fishing for trout. Daily passes are available for

all age groups.

Community Center

The Community Center with its fireplace, and

seating for 80 is ideal for a business retreat, family

reunion, instructional seminar, hobbyist gathering

or wedding reception. Our 40' x 70' patio is perfect

for large open air tented weddings, dances, or a

catered feast for larger groups.

Mountain Chapel

Our rustic log chapel, is right out of a movie set,

with wooden benches, and a wood stove. The

non-denominational chapel is perfect for memorial

gatherings and small weddings.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of other activities

including an 18-hole disc golf course, horse shoes,

tetherball, a paved basketball area and hiking.
