Join us in celebrating the West Wales County ofPembrokeshire’s first class fish and seafood, spectacularcoastline, wonderful beaches, great angling, culture andfascinating maritime heritage.

Love good food, enjoy beach and outdoor activities or just great familyfun, then you will definitely enjoy the Pembrokeshire Fish WeekFestival and there is plenty for non fish lovers too.

If you like great fresh fish and shellfish, to eat and to cook - you’re in fora treat! Tuck into the freshest local produce at the county's restaurantsand pubs, from local lobster to fresh crab salads and seafoodextravaganzas, taster menus to seafood tapas, a foraged picnic or goodold beer-battered fish with hand-cut Pembrokeshire chips. There are also lots of opportunities for keen cooks to learn how toget the best out of their fish and shellfish in a variety of demonstrationsand master classes with top chefs such as, Bryn Williams, Alyn Williams,Anthony Evans, Ravinder Bhogal and Anand George as well as fishexperts Duncan and Sue Lucas from Passionate about Fish.

From a relaxing evening trip on the Cleddau to adrenalin assured outdoor adventure there are plenty of ways for you to experiencePembrokeshire’s breathtaking coastline. Try eco fishing adventuresin a kayak, coasteering, a taster session in sailing at Saundersfoot’sFestival of The Sea, or catch your supper on a mackerel fishing trip.

If you’re bringing the family, or looking for some fishy frolics, nosquidding Fish Week is Skate! There’s so much fun in store! Explorecrystal clear rock pools and find out what lives on our beaches in seashoresafaris. Learn how to surf and fish, take part in seaside sports, makesome wonderful creations in beach-inspired art and craftworkshops, or even join a dance class at the D12 dance festival.

The festival is a fishing paradise for all levels – from the experiencedangler to the beginner and to ‘just have a go’. Keen anglers can enjoysome excellent fishing and take part in sea angling and coarse fishingchampionships, whilst families and beginners have plenty of choicefor fishing coaching at local fisheries throughout the county.

The week casts off with a food lovers and family day at MilfordHaven Dockside on Saturday June 23rd, were you can enjoy acarnival atmosphere, with music, entertainment and activities for all ages,alongside demonstrations, seafood to buy, taste and enjoy, exhibitions andstalls, and you certainly don’t need to like fish to enjoy the fun!

Named Number 1 in the top 10 food festivals in the UK byVisit Britain, the festival is a previous winner of True Taste FoodTourism Destination and Pembrokeshire Tourisms premier event in2009/10, it hosts over 200 family friendly events and activities aroundthe counties coast and inland waterways.

Window Dressing Competition 2012For a number of years the Chamber has organised a

successful Window Dressing Competition duringPembrokeshire Fish Week which is open to all local

businesses. Last year there were 25 entries, the winner beingAmaryllis, West Street, Fishguard.

Many local restaurants, cafes and pubs support the Festival withspecial menus featuring fresh fish and shellfish. Other events

include the Stena Line sea angling festival, coastering andforaging sessions, guided beach walks and learn-to-fish days.

Spend a day in Fishguard and Goodwick viewing thecompetition entries, taking part in the events and enjoying a

special meal.
