Small – yet spaciousThe cups are light and comfortable. Despite theirsmall outer dimensions, they provide amplespace for the ears. This means both effectiveattenuation and good comfort.

Two-point fastenersIndividually sprung bands of special steel prov-ide an even distribution of pressure and stabil-ity despite the low contact pressure.

Pressure balancingAn ingenious channel system ensures effectivebalancing of pressure. Provides both comfortand excellent attenuation.

Broad, soft sealing ringsPeltor’s unique foam-and-fluid filled ringsdistribute pressure evenly and give a low sur-face pressure. A must when the wearer alsowears spectacles..

Peltor Aviation HeadsetsNoise-compensated microphoneHigh-quality speech reproduction even atambient noise levels of over 115 dB.

Quick PositioningShift between speech and stand-by withoutchanging your individual basic settings.

Foldable headbandAdjusts to the shape of any head. A broad, softhead cushion gives comfort and stability.Continuous height settings.

Frequency-compensatedsound reproductionPeltor earphones have a special frequency fil-ter that considers the attenuation characteris-tics of the cup. This provides the best possiblesound quality in noisy environments.

Safety connectionThe cord and contact are specially designed forthe best function and reliability. The contacts areencased and reinforced at stress points..

A headset for high demandsWhen the ground is 32,000 feet below you, you can’tafford to have anything go wrong.Perfect communication, convenient design, low weightand maximum comfort are essential requirements ofa headset in a noisy aviation environment, in the airand on the ground.

A challengePeltor has the knowledge, experience and enthusiasmto meet this challenge, having been developingheadsets for military, civil, sport and helicopteraviation since the early 1950’s. In fact we are leadersin many aspects of product development.

Safety firstOur headsets have no protruding features which cansnag. All contacts are encased and reinforced at ben-ding points. The low profile of the headband ensuresthat the headset sits firmly on the head and minimizesthe risk of bumping against obstacles.

The parallel connector means that each earphoneworks separately, so that if one fails, the other worksas usual.

Our new microphone arm features a securelyencased cord. The small, sturdy design with fourpositions gives even more effective communicationwith its increased flexibility.

These small, carefully designed and extensively testedfeatures are just some of the reasons why Peltorheadsets are so safe. We’ve known this for more than40 years!

Hygiene kitReplace sealing rings and attenuation cushionsquickly and easily. The set contains two sealingrings and two attenuating cushions. To ensure good function and hygiene, replacetwice a year.

Wind protectionAn effective wind muffler for microphones. One per package.

Clean single-use protectorsPackages of 100 pairs, which are easy to applyto the sealing rings.

Mike ProtectorAn effective single-use microphone protectorthat increases the microphone’s life span. About50 replacements/pkg.

Storage bagEffectively protects the headset during transportand storage.

Cable clampStress-relieving clamp that can be attached to alapel or pocket to keep the cord out of the way.

The new Aviation 8000 seriesOur highly praised 7000 series headset now has awhole group of worthy successors.

The Aviation 8000 series has a more compactdesign. No protruding features that can snag onobstacles and affect safety and the cord is securelyencased in the microphone arm.

Remarkable comfortThe broad foam-and-fluid filled, breathing sealingrings seal effectively, but with minimal pressuredistributed over the entire contact surface. Thestainless sprung steel headbands maintain theirresiliency and provide an unbeatable distribution ofpressure. Plenty of space for the ears and a very lowweight!

Individual volume controlThe Aviation 8000 series has easily accessible controlswith inset volume and balance controls in one. Thissolution lets you compensate for different noisesituations and individual variations, such as poorhearing in one ear.

Positive communicationEffective noise attenuation through the entire speechfrequency area up to 25 dB. A special filter eliminateswind and breath noises.

• Small, lightweight and sturdy.• Microphone arm twists 180 degrees, allowing both right- and left-mounting.• 4-way adjustment with resistance settings – practically unlimited possibilities for individual settings.• Quick Positioning – from speech to stand-by without changing the basic settings.
