Con il nome Telegestione si intende la capacità di “comunicare” con alcune periferiche in ambito SmartCity, quali contatori vari, gas, elettricità acqua, ma anche lampioni stradali e sensori vari al fine di raccogliere dati nel caso di sensori e contatori, oppure di ridurre gli illuminamenti notturni in campo di pubblica illuminazione. Questo sistema è applicabile anche a negozi, centri commerciali e case private. La sua facilità e versatilità lo rende particolarmente adatto per allestire una rete proprietaria che da un lato è connesso alla rete internet e dall’altro alle periferiche. Il collegamento alle periririche può avvenire in PLC (Power Line Control / Onde Convogliate ) oppure con un ricetrasmettitore a radio frequenza 868Mhz oppure entrambe. Il gestore grazie alla interfaccia OrionView è in grado di comunicare con tutte le periferiche della rete. Nel caso di pubblica illuminazione l’ esempio sotto riportato chiarisce meglio la architettura.
