About the course Pediatric care is changing and improving all the

time, and it can be difficult for doctors, nurses and

other members of the healthcare team to stay on

top of newest practices, treatments and approaches.

Please join us for this complementary course on

Wednesday April 25, 2018 and review innovations

and advances in pediatrics that can lead to better

outcomes and improve the quality of care for the

children and families for which we provide care.

This course addresses these challenges. Upon

completion of this course, participants will be

able to:

• evaluate recent updates in basic science and clinical advances in pediatrics

• determine the bench to beside applications of recent scientific advances to the clinical care of children

• assess the added value of new diagnostic and screening tests, specifically their sensitivity, specificity and predictive values, both positive and negative

Target audience • Physicians

• Nurses

• Nurse practitioners

• Physician assistants
