Why is PECS valuable? Interdisciplinary exposure

Prepares members to be at ease with a variety of subjects across a

number of environmental issues. Interdisciplinary training strengthens members ability to handle climate &

energy issues that are increasingly interconnected

    Encouragement for energy/climate research

    PECS travel fund

Career plan Broad perspective on climate & energy issues enhances career

    opportunities outside academia:

PECS aims to enhance the research experience of

Princetons graduate students by encouraging them to

transcend the boundaries of their fields and by fosteringa sense of common intellectual adventure. Drawing from

a broad range of disciplines, PECS students and members

of the faculty board have a unique opportunity to

thoughtfully approach the multifaceted energychallenges of the 21st century. PECS website
