If children were taken at birthIf children were taken at birthTo a beautiful place on this EarthTo a beautiful place on this Earth
Where prejudice and prideWhere prejudice and prideWere just cast asideWere just cast aside
And each could discover it’s worthAnd each could discover it’s worth
Would color or race be the keyTo the person that turns out to be
The one with the mindThat searched out to find
Solutions to help you and me
Would black or white really matterTo children raised in this manner
Can prejudice passedBy parents at last
Be stopped in this drastic manner?
Would clubs still be formed among friendsTo admonish some of the men
That don’t share the viewOf the elegant few
That desire to set the trends?
Do you think that they understandThat each one is in demand
For a skill or a pill
