Your Task

Write a fantastic poem all about peace:

PeacePeace is like a dove flying high in the sky.A red poppy growing in a field.Like a calm lake with floating swans.Like the gentle flutter of a butterfly.Like the tranquility of laying in a field surrounded with daffodils.Like watching the setting sun on a beach.The smile of a new born baby.The feeling of a warm fuzzy hug from a very special someone.That is peace.

Peer Mediators

• They will be looking out for peaceful behaviour this week.

• They will be judging the best poem from each class and awarding those children with a special prize in a couple of weeks.

• The poetry will be turned into a big peace display.
