Describe the play leading to the goal for only one of the goals.

The Goal that was scored during the group match by Italy was scored by Materazzi as a header picked up from Zizou’s penalty kick.

What could defense have done better to stop the goal from

happening? After watching the goal, I Think defense did a

good job as each Italian player was blocked but I think it was a goal because the penalty kick was high and Materazzi jumped to Header it at the perfect timing. I think it was fate.

Using the same scoring sequence, what individual skills have been used by the

attacking team?

Zizous’s penalty kick was a really good high kick that helped score the goal because if it wasn’t a good one, Materazzi wouldn’t have been able to score the goal with a header. – Italy’s Goal

Zidane scored the goal for France as a penalty kick and his goal was a curved goal that went around the goalie, which I thought was really hard to do.

Was there any movement ‘off the ball’ by other attackers to draw defenders

away from the goal scorer?

There was movement between the defenders and the Italian players, because the defenders were trying to block every player and so the Italian players moved in a way that there was like a path from the scorer and the player that took the penalty kick.
