You have to view the movie In Pursuit of Happyness, for
the assignment on Transition and Building Resilience.
1. Analyze the role of Chris Gardner, Identify what
are his areas of strength, during the course of the
movie.
2. How do you perceive his resilience in his life? What
are the strengths (skills) does he exhibit which
displays resilience? (Refer to the handout and
quote examples from the movie.)
The assignment should be not less than 500 words.

Assignment
Students would create a video of 8 - 10 minutes covering
at least three of six:
- Handling Criticism
- Giving and Receiving Feedback
- Conflict Management
- Emotional Intelligence
- Work Ethics
- Transition and Building Resilience
Students are required to submit a copy of it in a CD to
respective ES faculty.
The video would be presented in the form of a story in a
professional/organizational setting.
There would be 8 members per group and each of the
member should be visible in the video.
Submission would be followed by a presentation.
Students would be assessed on the following parameters:
- Subject Coverage
- Clarity of Concept
- Script and Story
- Connect with the Viewer
