Eat different foods every day as variety is the recipe for health.
Base your food on carbohydrates.
Eat fruits and vegetables with each meal and tasty snacks.
Fat facts-Too much fat is not good for your health.
Snack attack! Eat regularly and choose a variety of healthy snacks.
Quench your thirst. Drink plenty of liquids.
Care for your teeth! Brush your teeth at least twice a day.

Eat regular meals and snacks.
Stress Management
We think that children don’t have stress but it’s not true. Children display stress very differently than an adult does. Often kids’ stress is internal-ized and most noticeable in physical symptoms like head-ache, stomachache, nausea, bedwetting, frequent, crying and sudden behavioral chang-es. It simply indicates a child’s inability to handle a stressful situation. Helping Kids to Reduce Stress
Spend time with your child and let them ventilate their negative emotions.
Gentle physical touch is a great healer. Sometimes a hug is worth more than a thousand words.
Motivate your child to discuss about his problems by asking open ended questions
Teach your kids that every-one makes mistakes.
Exercises and play can help to reduce stress. Motivate them to play out door games.
Help your kids recognize
and manage their stressors. (To be continued…..)

Message from Tulips coordinator
Dear Parents, We are happy to inform that our young Tulips (Junior KG children) know about different types of flowers includ-
ing our national flower and their uses. Also they know about the five sensory organs and their importance.
We do see that they are enjoying learning at PDIS. For better communication as requested before kindly send the school diary (Almanac) with the child everyday and make it a point to go through it. We need to do this regularly as these little ones are still developing their proper communication skills.
