NURSING, ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE DEGREE
Daytona College began offering our Nursing program in late September 2016. We are currently teaching some wonderful students who will eventually become our first graduates to attempt the NCLEX exam. We have never certified any student/graduate from Daytona College to register for the NCLEX examination. Our program is new and we have no graduates.
The 2016 NCLEX report published online by the Florida Board of Nursing lists Daytona College with one tester who attempted and failed the NCLEX Examination.
THIS TESTING INFORMATION IS INCORRECT AND WE ARE WORKING WITH THE FLORIDA BOARD OF NURSING AND THE EXAM PROVIDER TO CORRECT THE REPORT.
We believe that a person registering for the exam mistakenly chose the identifier for Daytona College, and that is the source of the error.
The official report for the year ending December 2016 will not be published until sometime during the first quarter, 2017. The Florida Board of Nursing has provided us with an interim document which confirms that Daytona College has never sent any testers to sit for the NCLEX exam.
This confirmation is shown below. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
