INTRODUCTION TO COURSES AT DENBIGH SIXTH FORM This booklet contains brief information about the different courses and enrichment opportunities we currently offer in the Sixth Form. It is very important that students carefully consider their options and choose courses that will lead to a successful outcome. It is also important that students choose courses that they are going to enjoy. More information about the courses for 2018 is also available from the relevant Faculty. Students need to look at their predicted grades in order to gauge whether they are likely to meet our subject entrance criteria. We do not have a blocking pattern at this stage and therefore students can choose a combination of courses. When we create the option blocks they are based on maximising student’s choices and therefore each year over 90% of students are able to study their first four choices. In addition to academic qualifications, we also encourage students to participate in enrichment courses, many of which are certificated. There are displays and students in The Street representing the enrichment courses we currently offer.
