Gibson’s Grant is located on theChester River and MacumCreek, just three miles from

the Bay Bridge. A large coastalwoodland tract, granted to JohnGibson by King William III in 1658,was expanded to 250 acres with thepurchase of a neighboring propertyand is now the site of an award-winning, planned Eastern Shorenew homes community, named forthe original land grant. The ideallocation and serene setting are hall-marks of the award winning proper-ty that features an historic, three-story 1760’s vintage brick manorhouse, that serves as the Gibson’sGrant Welcome Center.
