Brief Description: For this assignment, I have been asked to research a contemporary issue in Education, present the information, and generate a discussion about the topic with my classmates.
Rationale: I have selected PBL’s: Exploring Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning to demonstrate my understanding of Standard #5, Application of Content. I feel it is important to be knowledgeable of the various methods of teaching and ways to engage students in 21 s t Century skills. It is also important to have an understanding of the impact that each method can have on a student’s comprehension of the material.
