1. Create payment restrictions

To create rules for Payment Restrictions please go to admin panel -> Sales -> Payment Restrictions.

To add a new rule please click ‘Add Rule’ button.




2. Choose methods to restrict

Select payment methods, usage of which you would like to restrict. You can limit use of payment methods by country, state, groups, store view, customer and product attributes.




3. Choose store views and customer groups

Choose to which store views and customer groups the restriction should apply.

To avoid cases when certain payment methods can't be used for some customers or situations, you can set the restrictions to apply in admin panel as well - individual setting for each rule.




4. Specify conditions of rule application

At the conditions tab you can specify a number of parameters, by which the rule is applied. See the next page for more details.




5. Example of rule conditions

For example you can set the rule to apply when order subtotal is more than 50, items quantity is less than 100, delivery method is [dhl] Express Saturday. You can specify brands, categories and other product attributes to limit delivery options for particular products.
