Fees, method of payment and processing times

Following decisions by the government and the Minister of Immigration andCultural Communities effective August 1, 2013, some modifications havebeen made to immigration rules and procedures.

Fees

Application for a Selection Certificate

The applicable fees for the examination of anApplication for a SelectionCertificate (DCS) are calculated taking into account the immigration category

and the number of family members accompanying the principal applicant.

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you orby a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. Thesefees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused.

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

bank draft drawn on a Canadian bank; Canada Post money order.

ATTENTION!Cheques must made payable to the Ministre des Financesdu Qubecand must include, on the reverse side, the name of the applicantin block letters. Payment in cash and travellers cheques is not accepted.

BY MAIL:You must include, in the same envelope, the form dulycompleted and signed, all of the documents required depending on yoursituation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the feesrequired.
