Sugarhouse/ Undisclosed location
Sugarhouse is a photographic project, focused on the industrial landscape. It rised from a growing fear of mysterious steel constructions, operating right around the corner. Engineering architecture seems straightforward but the real mechanism and purpose of it is, in fact, hard to decypher without proper background. You need to find your own explanations.
Undisclosed location is a part of the project commisioned by Agnieszka and Sławomir Szczerkowski, who provided insight into the surroundings of his hometown, as a courtesy to the artist.
For proper viewing of the images make sure your reader displays facing pages.

Paweł Andrzej Kowalski
Born 1988, Poland. Graduate of Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.Involved in the creation of the International Photography Festival TIFF in Wrocław, a founding member of the Creative Cooperative PANATO.
His work is focused on the urban scape and the relationship of people with the city: Residential districts is the everyday date. Public space is the weekend/ show-off. On the other hand are the Industrial areas, inaccesible to outsiders. They are a mystery of the urban scape – both engaging and frightening.A choice of photographs is also translated into works on paper, involving various techniques of printmaking and stamps.
