NOTICE FOR ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING 2010.

From the Secretary’s Desk

It is indeed a pleasure to formally send the notice for Annual General

Body Meeting (AGM) 2010.

The AGM will be held on Sunday the 4th July, 2010 at;

RIVERVALE COMMUNITY CENTRE, MAIN HALL Corner of Surrey

Road/Francisco Street, Rivervale from 5 – 8 pm

All financial members (for the 01July2009-30June2010 session) are

requested to please attend the meeting. The primary agenda for the

meeting is to elect new Executive committee and to receive AnnualReport of the Association.

If a member wishes to include any other business for discussion at

AGM, a notice of at least seven days need to be given to the

Secretary.

The eligible candidates who wish to be elected as Executive

Committee members must comply with section 12 (d) & (e) and generalrules of the Association 2007(available at the website

www.pakistanassociation.com) . The nomination Form (PAWA-4) can

be submitted directly to the address given below seven days prior to

AGM i.e. by close of business hours i,e 5 pm local time on 27th June,

2010. A copy of the nomination form is included with this newsletter.

Appointment of Election Officer

Dr. Wajih Bukhari Membership Number B067 has kindly consented to

act as the Election Officer for proper conduct and the administration of

the process.

All nomination forms received by the Close of Business hours on 27th

June will be reviewed by the Election Officer on Monday the 28 th June

and a final list of the nominees will be circulated to the members on 29 th

June 2010.

In the AGM held in 2008 on the resolution of Dr. Farah Adeeb all

members unanimously agreed that nominees should be give a chance

to provide a brief about them so members can make a better informed

decision. Therefore we will be very happy to include a photograph and

a one paragraph introduction about each nominee (if they wish to do so)

in our newsletter once the nominations are reviewed and approved bythe Election Officer.
