Thank you to all of the volunteers this month. We would like to give a special acknowledgment to those who spearheaded our events. Marisa Richards hosted a smash WINGO night, Latia Hill-Wallace has been spearheading all of our community events including the upcoming ice skating night, Gerry Gianutsos, Alicia Pisco, and Sindy Speelman were nocturnal running our nighttime events, Darshinie Persaud and Nina Trainor enchanted us with the book fair, and Christina Arena and Latasha Bryan disembarked on a journey through PARP. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us.

Parent to Parent Chat

In February we have a parent coming to discuss her experiences having a child with special needs in school. She will discuss how we as a community can be supportive, resources that are available and SEPTA. We also have a parent coming to demonstrate how to use an epi-pen as was requested after the allergy discussion.

Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is about being kind to one another. Have each family member pick a name out of a hat and write a brief note of kindness telling them all the things they like about that person and why they are special. You can then hang them up for all to see and remember throughout the month.
