‘Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel’ – Philippians 1:27

Three characteristics of such a life:

1. Consistency – ‘Stand firm’, v27

2. Co-operation – ‘in one spirit, contending as one man’, v27

3. Confidence – ‘without being frightened in any way by those

who oppose you.’ v28– These battles prove that we really are saved - v28

– The presence of such conflict is a privilege - v29

–Others are experiencing the same conflict - v30
