Glass Wedding Cake StandThe Bride and Groom asked me to set up their cake today for their wedding. After surfing the internet, I tried this. I used two 20" glass circles with 7 fishbowl vases. 3 vases were filled with purple gel beads and a cream silk rose in water and the other 3 were reddish purple moth orchid with clear glass beads. Just an idea for displaying a cake!

Cupcake Tower DIYEverything you need is at your local hardware store. It can be personalized and made as big or little as you want! The top tier I usually have a cake on so the nut and bar is covered (after I cover it with shelf liner so the food doesn't touch it). If you aren't doing a cake on top, you can usually find a creative way to camoflauge it. One more thing my dear hubby pointed out I didn't include in the picture, you should put a washer on top and bottom so the nut does not eat into the wood!

NEW Round Cake Serving Guide/ChartThere is a similar graph to this on Cake Central, but it is not very large, so I totally made one in photoshop that is much larger. You can edit the color with paintbucket tool in photoshop elements or such. To save, left click on image and hold down while dragging image into web address bar and release. It will show the original file and right click and save:)
