Patrick spent most of his young adult life tending sheep as a

slave in Ireland.

St.Patrick was a slave for about 5 years until he escaped and returned home. After that

he moved to Gaul to study under St.Germain.He wanted to return to Ireland and spread the word of God but the church

does not agree and sends St.Palladius. St.Palladius died

so then the church said St. Patrick could go

After living in Ireland for over thirty years he is said to have baptized

120,000 people and built 300 churches. He retires in 461 and moves to County Down Ireland where later in the year he

dies on March 17,461 A.D.

the power of God uphold me,the wisdom of God guide me.

the word of God speak for me.May the hand of God protect me,

was real Patrick held up a shamrock and said “In the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit”
