Patricia Anne “Pat” Hardy, 81, of Groves, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. She was born September 9, 1938, in Kirbyville, to Molly Katherine Collier Hardy and Ted Hardy.

Pat attended Nederland High School. She graduated and was a cheerleader in 1957, the same year that the Nederland Bulldogs won a state championship. She was also a Nederland Westernaire, a proud member of the National Honor Society, and she played the bass guitar. Pat was a fan of the Houston Texans. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and her arts and crafts.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Northcutt, of Groves; daughters, Julie Dorsey, of Port Neches; Deanna LeDoux and her husband, Britt, of Kingwood; and Lori Melancon, of Port Neches; grandchildren, Timothy Rozell; Lauren Campbell; Kelli Corbell; Darcy LeDoux; and Blake LeDoux; great-grandchildren, Maverick Rozell; Kaysen, Keaton, and Cole Cambell; and Aria Corbell; sister, Shirley Lubera; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Molly and Ted Hardy; daughter, Karen Hair; sisters, Linda Young; Molly Clubb; and Peggy Roye.
