is truly a national treasure, a place where
almost 400 species of wildlife can be found.
The Friends of Patoka River NWR invite you
to visit the Refuge and take in the sights,
sounds, and wonder of this amazing place!
Driving directions to Snakey Point: From SR 64 east of Oakland City, IN, turn north onto CR 1275 E; east onto CR 75 S; then northeast onto CR 1300 E to Snakey Point.
The Snakey Point Marsh Complex is one of the best public access sites on the Refuge. Visitors can enjoy miles of hiking trails, utilize the fishing pier and access the marsh for paddling or fishing from one central locale.
