January and February were busy months or the OSKAYAKYouth Committee and the Richmond Aboriginal Lie-skillsand Leadership (RALLY) Participants.
Both groups attended a weekend leadership retreat atLoon Lake, located in the Malcom Research Forest, inMaple Ridge. Pinnacle Pursuits, a leadership training
group, meet the group at Loon Lake and took the youthon a once in a lie time adventure. Youth pushed theirboundaries by walking on high ropes and zipping atopthe cedar orest on a zip line.
The RALLY youth showed o their enhanced leadershipskills to the community while they supported host MikeJames at Pathways 5th Annual Aboriginal Games Workshopheld at Blundell Elementary School. A big thank you toMike James or coming out to Richmond, sharing histravelling bundle, traditional games and teachings withall o us.
The RALLY group will be leaving or Naniamo during
spring break to attend this years Gathering Our VoicesConerence and then wrapping up the project with acommunity celebration at the end o March.

Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA)Free Basketball Camp 2012

Spring Break
Team BC seeking top Aboriginal hockey players ancoaching sta or 2012 National Aboriginal HockeyChampionships.
Player Selection Camp
Team BC tryouts will be conducted at a three day PlayeSelection Camp where coaching sta will evaluate andselect the provinces top Aboriginal male and emalehockey players to represent British Columbia at the 2012NAHC. The Player Selection Camp will be held March 30t
to April 1st, 2012 at the Shulus Community Arena locatedin Lower Nicola Indian Band ( Merritt), BC.
