Community for your ConferenceA place where attendees can meet and mingle before the event
and stay connected long after it’s over
Pathable can be embedded as a “tab”
in your web site
Your event’s brand is the community’s
brand
Profiles include photos, bios, tags, blogs, etc.
Pathable also tells you which of your LinkedIn and Twitter friends are attending.
Attendees can find people who share
their interests
Each tag acts like a dynamic mailing list: attendees can send
messages to just people who have that specific tag in their profile.
Here, Beth is asking the CMP’s at the event for advice on the exam.
Attendees can choose which educational sessions to attend and export their own
personal schedule to Outlook, print it, view it on their iPhone or Blackberry.
…and download handouts and have conversations with each other.
Speakers can ask the attendees what they’d like a talk to cover and then
continue the conversation afterwards.
Attendees schedule meetings with each other, automatically blocking
off session times.Schedule can be synched to Outlook 2007, viewed on the
iPhone, Blackberry, etc.
Integrated Twitter client allows attendees to follow a real-time stream of tweets related to the event and even send their own
tweets from within the community.

Pathable FAQs How long does it take to build and deploy a Pathable community?
In many cases, it can be as few as several days, but typically the time from contract to launch is ~2 weeks, which includes client review and design iteration.
Who owns the data? You, the customer, own the data. Pathable hosts it for you on our secure servers, but will
never independently contact or market to your attendees. How long does the site work for?
Typically, a Pathable site is launched ~2 months prior to the event itself and continues to live for 1 year following (at which time, for annual events, we recommend rolling your community into the following year’s site). These timings are flexible, though, and can be tailored to your event’s needs.
Why wouldn’t we just use Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn? Pathable offers a branded, safe community for your event that you own. You don’t get to
control your brand or the sponsors or ads that appear on other services. For example, inappropriate ads, or ads for competitors might show up elsewhere.
Is Pathable expensive? No, Pathable is very affordable. In fact, in many cases, a single “Community
Sponsor” can more than off-set the initial out-of-pocket costs for Pathable. Pathable has proven ROI in terms of increased attendance through social marketing tools provided and improved attendee satisfaction, which translates into increased renewals. If your attendees are coming to network, can you afford not to provide a solution?
