What’s new: Full text search in Japanese

Since April 2012, PATENTSCOPE uses the LUCENE Kuromoji morphological analyzer (contributed by : Atilika Inc. ( アティリカ株式会社 )):

Japanese text is tokenized in « words » before indexation and the obtained « words » are indexed the same way as for latin languages

Proximity queries are more meaningful

CLIR to be adapted to use Kuromoji in the near future
