- Using the 5” squares,Make 2 Half Square Triangle (HST) unitsDirections for HST units on last page- Each HST unit is trimmed to a 4 1/2” square
- Using the 3” squares,Make 4 Half Square Triangle (HST) unitsDirections for HST units on last page- Each HST unit is trimmed to a 2 1/2” square

Sewing the Units Directions
- Draw a line on the backof all the light squares
Cut on the drawnLine for 2 HST
- Layer the dark and light square- Sew a ¼” seam on bothSides of the drawn line
-Trim squares to correct sizeusing a square ruler witha diagonal line placed on theSeam.
