Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation. Psalm 100:4-5
Happy June Saint James. What an interesting spring we have had thus far. I don’t know about you, but I miss seeing you. And I know many of you feel the same way. We understand we need to do this to keep us and others safe, but it is getting old now. This usually leads to the question about when we can start meeting again. I believe we will begin to slowly gather in worship again beginning in June. But there are some things we need to do and be watching before we begin. Here is what needs to happen before and after we open up: BEFORE 1. We need to get our live streaming from the front of the sanctuary to the back. We are working with
our sound company to help us do this as they provided all these wonderful capabilities to do this. 2. We also need to get some preventative care in place which we are working on. 3. We also need to watch the stats now that the area has begun to open up. We need to make sure
there is no spike in cases that endangers us. So, for sure we need to be watching at least through June 7th.
AFTER AND DURING 1. Everyone who comes to worship MUST wear a mask except those on the platform leading. 2. There will be no gathering time prior to worship or after. No coffee, no cookies, no close socializing. 3. You must sit 6+ feet apart from others (not families) and use hand sanitizer entering and leaving. 4. If you are not feeling well in the slightest, please stay home and watch the live stream 5. Communion will be by individual cups and bread and servers will have gloves on. Once we open,
live stream communion will not be offered. 6. Offering will not be collected but baskets will be set up in the back for you to drop your offering in. 7. We are working with our cleaning crew to ensure the sanctuary is sanitized following worship as well
as classrooms. 8. There will be no printed material. Bulletins, Worship Notes and Daily Bible Studies will be emailed
to you each week prior to worship. You may print them from home if you need a hard copy. So, there you have it – the new norm for our transition time. If this works, we will bring Wednesdays and small groups back during the week sometime in July, but for now, we will continue those by live stream and zoom.
Looking forward to seeing you soon, Pastor Shirley
Lawn mowing season has begun and it would really be
helpful to have a small zero turn mower to cut the
areas too small for the large riding mower, but too large
for the push mower. The smaller riding mower we are
using is on its last leg. There are areas they would
have to use the push mower if that leg gives out. We
have a lot of property to mow and have small lawn
crews. It is hard work and the lawn teams are
constantly fighting the heat and dodging the rain
showers. If your heart is touched by this need and
even if you can just give a portion towards this project
it will be greatly appreciated.

Notes of Appreciation
Thank you to everyone for your prayers, cards, and phone calls during my recovery
from surgery. It is very comforting to know that we have such a strong church family
supporting all of us in time of need. Thank you.
Chip & Betty Newberger
What a wonderful turnout for Jim Winding’s 90th birthday car
parade! He was really surprised and very happy to see
everyone. Thank you to all those who participated and to
Marcia Mulvaney for coordinating the event. It was a great
way to see each other and continue to social distance!
Thank you to all those who were able to bring items in for the Bags of Hope during the month of May despite it being a more difficult time to get out and shop. Also, a big thank you to all those who were able to respond so generously to help feed those who are less fortunate and really struggling during this time of uncertainty.
You are an awesome congregation and did a super job in reaching out to help the community.

Weekly Prayer List
Please continue to submit your prayer requests by email to
Fred ([email protected] ). We would also like you to
please advise us if and when a person no longer needs to be
on the prayer list. We don’t want to take someone off if they
continue to need prayers but there are times when people are
doing better and we need to remember we continually need to
add new requests to the list. Thank you for your cooperation!
