couple more classes.

Adult Sunday School Celebration

We will be celebrating Adult Sunday School with a breakfast on

Sunday August 20th during the Sunday School Hour.

9:40-10:30am If it’s been a while since you’ve

been to adult Sunday school,

come and hear about the different

classes and start in the fall again

and join the family.

Solar Eclipse Will be on August 21st

If anyone wants to go see it, I will take a car or bus load. Please call the church office by

August 16th. We will probably go to Mayfield or

somewhere around Paducah.

The Book Club

The Book Club books are in, A Man Called Ove, by

Fredrik Backman. I only ordered 2 so you can

borrow. Contact me at the church office if you need a book.

Next meeting is September 8th.

Calling all Women and Moms!!

We will be having a Bible Study on Wednesdays Starting

August 30th at 9:15 A.M.

In the Church Library

We will be studying the book of Hebrews

With Lisa Harper

We will be combining Moms Connect with this

Bible Study. Child care will be available.

Come celebrate your birthday with us!!

August 27th after church.

We will have tables set up according to

the months of the year and you will sit at

the table of your birth month.

The luncheon will be Pot Luck according

to you birth month.

Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec. Bring a Dessert. Thank You!!

Those decorating I will be at the church from 10 to

12 on Saturday August 26th.

Christmas is just around the corner.

This year we are going to combine our giving efforts. We are going to

help both children aboard and children here at home.

We are still going to send boxes to Operation Christmas child but not as

many, our goal is 75. The other project is going to be

local - working with the Back Pack Program. In each back pack that

goes home the week of Christmas, we would like to put a pair of Christmas socks filled with

fun little toys. So I will put a box in the Mission

Niche for both projects. Items needed are: Christmas socks,

small toys, hygiene items, books, school supplies, balls, jump ropes,

hair stuff, hard candy. We will have packing party in

November.
