This is to invite you to our parish Ministry Fair, which will be on the following dates: May 26, June 9 and on July 21, 2013. This month of May, we will feature the Formation Ministry of our parish. We would like to present to all of you the different Ministries of Formation that is available for each of you to join in our parish. The Formation Ministry is made up of groups that are avenues of spiritual formation for each of its members. Each group has its mission and vision in achieving the formation that it provides. Please come visit us at the patio on May 26, 2013 and find out for your-self where God maybe calling you to be part of. Starting on May 12, 2013, after each Mass, some of the groups will be outside the Church, to give away their flyers on their groups so that you can be well informed of each group. The groups which are part of the Formation Ministry are:

A day set aside to honor mothers was the suggestion of Anna M. Jarvis of Philadel-phia, Pennsylvania. Anna wanted to honor her mother and all mothers. Anna never mar-

ried and was very close to her mother. Her mother faithfully taught Sunday School for twenty years. Anna's mother passed away on May 9, 1905.

The first Mother's Day church service was held May 10. 1908, in her mother's home town of Grafton, West Virginia. In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation making Mother's Day a national observance, “as a public expression of our love and reverence for the mothers of our country.” Mother's Day is now celebrated on the second Sunday of May.

Del Día de las Madres

La sugerencia de Anna M. Jarvis de Philadelphia, Pensylvania, fue hacer un día especial para honorar a las Madres. Anna quería honorar a su mamá y a todas las Madres. Anna nunca se caso y fue muy apegada con su mamá. Su mamá fue maestra de Catecismo los Domingos por veinte años. Su mamá falleció el 9 de Mayo de 1905.

La primera misa del Día de las Madre se llevo acabo el 10 de Mayo de 1908, en la ciudad de Grafton, Virginia donde su mamá vivió. En 1914, el Presidente Woodrow Wilson firmo una proclamación haciendo el Día de las Madres un día Nacional de observación, “como una expresión de amor y reverencia a madres de nuestro país.” El Día de las Madres es ahora celebrado cada Segundo Domingo del mes de Mayo.

REGISTRATION for 2013 - 2014

Registration for Students in grades 1st. through 8th., for this Fall will take place during the following dates:

May 15th - June 26th , 2013 Monday/Lunes 2 pm - 7 pm Tuesday/Martes 2 pm - 7 pm Wednesday/Miércoles 2 pm - 7 pm Thursday/Jueves CLOSED / CERRADO Friday/Viernes CLOSED / CERRADO Saturday/Sábado 9 am - 3 pm Sunday/Domingo CLOSED / CERRADO

If your child is six years or older and has not been baptized, a 2 year program for preparation for Baptism and First Holy Communion is offered. For children of all ages that have been baptized, we offer a 2 year program of preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Every child not attending a Catholic School should be regis-tered for Religious Education Classes. We offer CONTINU-ING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION for all grade levels from Ele-mentary to Jr. High. These classes are to enrich these young peo-ple in the knowledge of their Catholic Christian Faith at their grade level and to enable them to practice it in their daily lives.

Fees are as follow: $80 for one child $100 for 2 siblings $125 for 3 siblings

Registration must be submitted before June 26th, 2013. Bring your child's baptism certificate. No child will be register without the original Baptism Certificate.

Todo niño que no asiste a una escuela Católica debe ser registrado en clases de Educación Religiosa. Ofrecemos Continuación de Educación Religiosa para todos los grados hasta Jr. High, según el nivel de su niño. Estas clases son para enriquecer a estos jóvenes en el conocimiento de su fe Cató1ica Cristiana a su nivel de vida y para que la practiquen en su vida diaria.

Las cuotas son las siguientes: $80 por 1 niño $100 por 2 hermanos $125 por 3 hermanos

La registración deben ser sometidas antes del 26 de Junio. Favor de traer el Certificado original de Bautismo de su hijo/a. No se aceptarán registraciones sin el certificado original.
