Swardman
Swardman with its headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic and its own production facility near Pilsen, the home of pilsner beer, develops, produces and retails premium cylinder lawn mowers for home use. It also provides complete servicing for the mowers. The company was founded in 2013 by Tomas Sena, with a vision of becoming a producer of the best cylinder mowers in the world.
A high-quality cylinder mower is a necessary tool for anyone who loves a perfect striped lawn, for those who do not settle for a standard solution – neither in the quality of the lawn, nor in the machine that takes care of it. Swardman is for those with a passion for lawns.
During the production process, Swardman focuses on easy manipulation, quality of materials and top-notch manufacturing that ensures the perfect, precise cut. Additionally, Swardman sells accessories and provides consulting that is necessary for the upkeep of a perfect lawn.
Swardman has served several hundred customers, mainly in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, France, Switzerland and other EU countries. Since 2017 the company has been focused on export to EU countries and comparing to 2016 it has increased its production signifi cantly.
How does the cylinder lawn mower work? The cylinder mower cuts the grass precisely, just like with scissors. Every grass blade is cut gently and cleanly. There are usually 5 or 6 blades in helix layout on one horizontally rotating cylinder. The cylinder with blades is called a reel, thus the name cylinder or reel mower. Each blade rotates and meets a passive blade that is placed just above the terrain, which ensures the cutting of individual blades of grass. In 2015, Swardman developed a revolutionary model Edwin that moved the whole branch of cylinder mowers for residential use to a new level of technology and quality.
