Oregon title in your name, plates on vehicle: • Apply to renew and/or replace your plates online for most plates; no need to calculate your fee.
Oregon title in your name, but no plates on vehicle: • Calculate your fees using the charts below (send check or money order payable to “Oregon DMV”);• Write the plate background you want in the “Remarks” area of the application; and• Apply by mail, with a completed application, to DMV Services, 1905 Lana Ave NE, Salem OR 97314.

In a DEQ area? You must pass the DEQ test and submit a Certificate of Compliance with your application. Newer vehicles do not need tested.
Vehicle year 2000 or newer? Find your vehicle’s combined MPG rating at fueleconomy.gov.

** If you enroll in OReGO, the brand new vehicle registration fee is $172; the used vehicle registration fee is $86. Submit a copy of your enrollment email to DMV. If you leave the OReGO program, DMV will bill you for the full registration fee.

• Maintained as a collector’s item; and• Older than half the number of years
between the current year and 1900.

Special Interest Vehicle
Note: If you want to provide your own vintage Oregon plate for use, contact DMV for approval and fees.

To qualify, your vehicle must be: • Maintained as a collector’s item; and• At least 25 years old; or• Sanctioned as Special Interest by an
established organization; or• A street rod; or• A high-mobility multipurpose
wheeled vehicle (HMMWV); or• A racing activity vehicle.
ATTENTION: If your vehicle wasoriginally manufactured as apassenger vehicle, it DOES NOTqualify as a racing activity vehicle,even if you modified it.

National Guard • Proof that you are an active memberof the Oregon National Guard bysubmitting an Oregon MilitaryCertificate of Eligibility, AGO Form4309.
