Our main services originally

consisted of bunker and

cargo surveys. Whether for

solid or liquid cargo on

bunker, our primary focus is

to continue to provide the

best solutions according to

clients' needs, without

compromising on the quality

or control of our services.

We carry out surveys in

Gibraltar, Algeciras, Ceuta,

Las Palmas and Piraeus.

In 2008, we added to our

services as service launch

providers in the Gibraltar

area. We service tankers

and can transport cargo and

passengers; including the

facilitation of crew changes;

sending our launches to

platforms and all types of

vessels throughout the Port

of Gibraltar. Our launches

are suitable for corporate

charter and other

commercial uses.

The next to be introduced,

a year ago, was our Drug

and Alcohol collection

service to/ from Gibraltar,

Algeciras and Las Palmas.

We work together with Euro

Laboratory Services to the

Shipping Industry (ELSSI);

offering top quality

personalized Drug and

Alcohol Testing solutions to

the shipping community.

Service Launch works 24 hours a day, 7

days a week with rotating duty crews.

Maintained by two company mechanics

and well equipped for safety at sea as

required by Gibraltar's Maritime

Administration.

Port Auxiliary Services Ltd has been subcontractor to Veritas

Petroleum Services (VPS) for over 12 years and has clients

worldwide. Bunker fuel quality testing is provided in

Gibraltar, Algeciras, Ceuta and Las Palmas. The company's

experienced bunker fuel surveyors offer impartial,

independent quantity measurement inspection services for

marine fuels, issuing detailed bunker survey reports to

confirm fuel delivery and report bunker fuel shortages.

Bunker fuel quantity and quality reports help clients support

fuel shortage claims and quality disputes. Port Auxiliary

Services Ltd is supported by experienced bunker fuel testing

laboratories. Marine bunker fuels are tested to ISO 8217,

Marpol Annex VI and other specifications.

Working with liquid cargo in transit, our trained specialists

carry out all types of cargo and bunker surveys. Surveys are

carried out in Gibraltar, Algeciras, Piraeus Ceuta and Las

Palmas. We have laboratories at our disposal with the skilled

personnel and technology to assist as best possible according

to your needs.

High value liquid commodities like crude oil, fuels, etc... are

measured, analyzed and verified for quantity and quality.

Surveyors sample representative product from bulk storage

tanks, tankers, cargo ships, barges, shore storage and

Drug and alcohol abuse has become a common problem for owners and managers in both the public and private shipping communities. Extensive random or full/part crew drug and alcohol testing is often carried out. This requires collectors who understand the importance of obtaining samples that are valid and uncompromised and which comply to the relevant collection regulations and guidelines. We offer a Drug and Alcohol collection service in Gibraltar, Algeciras and Las Palmas to assist clients to conform to legislative requirements, that includes coming on board to take samples to be sent for laboratory analysis. We work with Euro Laboratory Services to the Shipping Industry (ELSSI) which conforms to a code of ethics and is known around the world for their high level of integrity and professionalism.
