ALIVA AL-237
The Aliva AL-237 shotcrete machine is the ideal machine for small to mid-sized shotcrete applications. Based on the rotor size, the Aliva AL-237 has output capabilities ranging from 0.2 m3 to 4.0 m3 per hour. As such, this machine is ideal for applications such as concrete patchwork and restoration, swimming pool construction, joint filling, slope stabilization, and refractory work.

ALIVA AL-252
The Aliva AL-252 shotcrete machine has been considered the work horse of the mining and tunneling industry for many years. With output ranging from 3.5 m3 to 11.0 m3 per hour, the Aliva AL-252 is ideally suited for high volume, dry-process shotcrete operations. This machine is most commonly used as a stand alone unit, but it can also be integrated into a bulk type shotcrete system when installed on mobile equipment and fed by a bulk hopper.

The Putzmeister TK 20 Concrete Pump has an optional quick-attach, 0.28 m3 (13 ft3) mixer. The machine can easily be transformed from a conventional concrete pump to a mixer-pump combination. For low volume concrete mixing or for applications in which ready-mix cannot be used, this all-in-one mixer and pump operates independently, on its own diesel power.

The CCM 200 E Continuous Mixer is a high quality, high capacity, easy to operate, concrete mixer with automatic water control, mounted on a four-way steel skid. The A-10 Chemical/Accelerant Dosing Pump handles abrasive fluids with little wear and provides a high level of volumetric accuracy for sampling, transfer, and metering applications. The A-20 Chemical/Accelerant Dosing Pump has no valves or glands where crystals can build up or clog the pump. The absence of product slip in the hose provides 100 percent volumetric efficiency.

Aliva OEM joint plates and rotor plates are constructed with the highest quality of rubber and high carbon steel, which allows for increased throughput and lower operating costs. Both the joint plates and rotor plates can be ground-down several times and then put back in operation. This process should be completed before the wear on the plates becomes too severe.

The semi-wet, or hydro-mix, nozzle assembly was designed to increase mixing time after the introduction of water in the dry-mix process. This increase in time allows for more thorough mixing before the shotcrete exits the nozzle, and greatly reduces dust emissions from the nozzle tip.

H O P P E R H O O D
Minequip’s enclosed hopper hood was developed to serve various purposes. First and foremost, it allows the machine operator to safely open the discharge chute on bulk bags, without lowering the bulk bag on to the lip of the hopper. By opening the access door on the side of the hopper hood, the operator can safely and effectively untie the bags without risk of injury.
Another benefit of the enclosed hopper hood is dust control. Incorporated into the design, is a round hole that is the same diameter as the discharge chute on the bag. This feature allows the chute of the bulk bag to plug the hole in the hood, and prevents dust from escaping from the hopper.
The enclosed hopper hood is available in steel or aluminum, and is designed to fit Aliva AL-237, Aliva AL-246, and Aliva AL-252 machines. Custom hoods for other models are available upon request.

The purpose of an air-separator box is to allow for concrete to be mixed and placed using a conventional shotcrete machine. The problem with using a standard type shotcrete nozzle to pour a slab or floor, is that the material impacts the surface at a high velocity. As a result of this velocity, aggregate will not adhere to the surface until a layer of paste has built-up. This type of rebound can create pockets of aggregate that exist without cement, which causes voids within the concrete.
An air-separator box is designed to stop the material from impacting the surface with any substantial velocity. The box is lined with thick rubber to reduce wear and decrease velocity. The air-separator box is also equipped with a vent on the top, to allow the conveyance air to escape without pushing the material out of the bottom of the box.

Minequip shotcrete construction panels are widely used for underground shotcrete construction work. Typical applications include the creation of ventilation barricades, refuge station walls, fuel bay contaminate dikes, backfill barricades, ore and waste-pass bumper walls and powder magazines. By eliminating the need for framework, Minequip shotcrete construction panels reduce direct material, labour, and material handling costs.
Our panels are made up of five inner trusses of 6 gauge wire, and two full sheets of 9 gauge mesh. The end result is a superior panel, with large openings to facilitate placing on anchor pins. The panels also have a wide enough grid to reduce the amount of rebound that is associated with other panels.
Minequip shotcrete construction panels are available in standard 4’ x 8’ sheets, in various thicknesses ranging from 2” to 8”, and can be supplied with or without fabrene backing.

FORM-TEK 20 WS is a biodegradable form release agent that is made from 100% renewable products, and is specially formulated to be used at low temperatures. This product is also water soluble, making it easy to clean. This form release agent is non-toxic, contains no solvents or VOCs, can be used on structures near water, and is safe for workers to use.

Minequip’s shotcrete support posts are prefabricated concrete posts designed to take the place of pillars that are shot-in-place using conventional methods. The posts are deigned as a quick and effective method for installing support in large excavations underground. They are commonly used in the cut-and-fill mining method, and take the place of ore pillars that are costly to leave in place.
Each shotcrete support post is available with a rebar strain meter cast into the middle of the post. This feature allows for the user to monitor the load applied to the pillar.

The end-beam testing apparatus measures the early age, compressive strength of institu concrete or shotcrete. Particularly in mining and tunneling operations, it is important to know the strength of material at early ages. These compressive strength values cannot be obtained through traditional methods such as shooting a panel and retrieving cores, because cores are difficult to extract at an early age and it is not recommended to core a shotcrete panel before a strength of 10 MPa (1,450 psi) has been achieved.
The key to the end-beam test method is the use of molds that can be disassembled for quick and easy extraction at any strength. The test is an adaptation of the ASTM-C116, “Standard Test Method for Compressive Strength of Concrete Using Portions of Beams Broken in Flexure”. Minequip’s End-Beam Tester allows users to obtain quick, easy, and accurate early age strength readings for shotcrete and concrete.
